Our brief ADHD screening service is designed for individuals aged 18 and over who would like to consult a psychologist before pursuing a full diagnostic assessment with a psychiatrist.

Who This Service is For

• If you are considering medication: Psychiatrists, who are able to prescribe ADHD medication, will typically conduct their own full assessment before offering a medication trial to those who meet ADHD criteria. This screening can serve as an initial step before seeking a psychiatrist's evaluation.

• If you are not seeking medication: For those who do not wish to trial medication at this time and would prefer a comprehensive ADHD assessment conducted solely by a psychologist, we also offer a full ADHD assessment.

What the Brief ADHD Screening Includes

• Completion of a validated ADHD screening tool with high sensitivity and specificity for identifying ADHD.

• A discussion of your results and current concerns.

• A summary letter that you may share with your GP.​
